Serving victims of violent crime and the survivors of victims of homicide
As a non-profit organization, Victims for
Justice can not achieve its goals without the help of dedicated volunteers. We are currently looking for people to help in a range of areas.Whether you’re interested in one program or several, we want to find
the volunteer project that suits you!Help
us reach more victims of violent crime in the state and continue to advocate for
their rights.
VFJ is currently looking for volunteers in the following
areas:
Special
Events - Currently VFJ has 5 annual events – the H2Oasis Riverwalk for
Justice, the National Crime Victims Rights Week Awards Banquet and Tree Ceremony,
the annual Monument Ceremony, and the Holiday Open House. Theses event are essential to funding our
mission, as well as creating public awareness for our cause. If you are
interested in making these events come to life – from the decorations and
donations, to helping hands at the events themselves (and more), this is the
area for you!
Office
Assistance - Throughout the year we have projects that require a few
extra hands, such as mailings, filing, data entry, etc. These projects are
usually on-call needs that will happen between 9am-5pm, Monday through
Friday, but may occasionally be after-hours or on weekends.
